樱花居委会于2002年经原金园区人民政府批准设立，名称沿用至今。[1]

南临珠峰南路，北面隔着天竺园、杜鹃园，东有东厦北路，西有金新北路；居委会设在木兰园13幢。辖区面积0.13平方千米，分3个居民小组。[1]
