大窖社区是汕头市金平区金砂街道下辖的社区，位于市区西北部，东临梅溪河，居委会在护堤路的大窖村池尾一横，分6个居民小组。[1][2]居民主要是清代迁来的李姓族人的后代。[1]

名称由来[edit]

大窖一带处在冲积平原上，地势低洼，原称大滘；村东南的韩江堤边建了三山国王庙，村名遂改作大窖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

咸丰年间（1850至1855年），澄海岐山李厝有李姓人家搬来此处建村；此后又有来自金砂、岐山、南楼、潮安、潮阳、饶平等地的李氏村民陆续迁入，聚居一处。[1]1949年10月汕头解放，大窖村划在澄海县；1980年改属汕头市金砂区，1991年又入金园区；2002年设金砂街道大窖居委会，2003年3月起仍由金砂街道管辖。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

社区面积0.6平方千米，东边靠着梅溪，北边抵下岐报本路，南端在大窖乡东一横巷，西端到金湖幼儿园。博雅地名网载有3326户、12278人。[1][2][3]据同一页，70年代以前村里的住宅清一色是“四点金”“下山虎”式的院落群，1980年之后村里的土地逐渐被征作他用。[1]社区内可见汕头市第四人民医院、大窖小学和广东省七二二地质队。[2]百度百科记载，2023年社区进行城中村改造，并建成梅溪河护河堤坝文体休闲公园。[4]
