新合是汕头市龙湖区新溪街道的一个社区，位于街道的中心地带，被归入“镇中心区”一类[1]。名称由“新溪”的“新”和周边村名里的“合”字拼成[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

这里的居民委员会设于1986年，叫新合居委会；2002年改称社区居民委员会，一直沿用[1]。社区四周是北中、六合以及头合、三合各村，街道的党建报道提到，社区开设了向居民敞开的“街心驿站”，用作党群服务点[2]。
