官塘社区是珠海市香洲区唐家湾镇下辖的社区，辖区即官塘古村，位于镇域中部，背山面海，别称「七星地」。[1][2]村名最早见于清乾隆《香山县志》，村里至今留有佘氏大宗祠、官塘乡主庙等清代建筑，并在2022年开设了村史馆。[1][2]

得名与开村[edit]

「七星地」的叫法来自地形：七座山坡围着一湾海水，像七星伴月。后来写作「官塘」，博雅地名网记了两种解释：一说因卓氏二世祖的名号谐音，或取「官」字冠名；一说是村落被山水隔成七块、与海水围成半月形，由此演变而来。[2][3]

开村时间有两种说法。博雅地名网写道，1300年前后蔡姓渔家在此立村，百余年后卓氏从福建莆田迁来；百度百科则称，元末顺德佘氏为避战乱迁居于此，到乾隆年间形成佘、邱、洪、冯、卓五姓聚居的格局。[1][2]

行政沿革[edit]

1959年中山、珠海两县合并，官塘先后划归中山县张家边公社和五桂山农村；1961年4月两县再度分设，官塘归珠海县下栅公社，称官塘大队。1979年珠海建市后仍属下栅公社，1984年撤销人民公社，大队改称乡。[2]1970年代村名曾改作「观塘」，1979年恢复原名。[1]2019年9月，官塘社区被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[2]

古建筑与村史馆[edit]

官塘乡主庙位于上埔北一巷4号，建于清咸丰三年（1853年），2018年2月列为珠海市第七批文物保护单位。[2][4]佘氏大宗祠和横岗卓公祠均在沙桥沟路，为县级文物保护单位。[2]据百度百科，佘氏大宗祠为清代岭南风格的祠堂，2022年开放的村史馆即由宗祠改建；另有民国时期中西合璧的鹏轩学舍（俗称简先楼），被视为近代兴办新式教育的实例。[1]

官塘至香洲区东坑村之间的长南迳古道，2022年5月24日公布为第二批区级文物保护单位。[4]清明祭祖仪式和唐家湾茶果的制作技艺是村里保留的民俗。[1]
