梅溪社区是珠海市香洲区凤山街道辖下的社区，由原梅溪村改设，社区的名字就是村名。[1] 这里是清末华侨陈芳的家乡，全国重点文物保护单位陈芳家宅和梅溪牌坊都在社区范围内。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，梅溪是「五溪」中的一溪。1988年土地统一征收，此后1992年设行政管理村，到2001年撤村设居，建立梅溪居委会，一直用到现在。[1] 梅溪原属前山街道，2020年凤山街道设立后改属凤山街道。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

陈芳（1825—1906），字国芬，生于香山县下恭都的杨梅斜村，即今梅溪，赴夏威夷经商致富，曾任清政府驻夏威夷首任领事，被称为华侨中第一位百万富翁。[2][5] 2025年是他诞辰200周年，凤山街道侨联当年11月组织人员到故居景区开展纪念活动。[6]

陈芳家宅由陈芳故居、陈氏宗祠、梅溪大庙、石牌坊、碉楼和墓园组成，国务院在2006年公布的第六批全国重点文物保护单位中将其列入。[3][5] 故居是陈芳1890年返乡后兴建的，有陈公祠1座、大屋3座、洋房和花厅各1座，砖瓦结构，中式格局中掺入西式装饰；总占地5742平方米，另有私人舞厅。[3][5] 景区内还设有陈芳家史馆，梅溪大庙里展出牌坊模型，陈氏大宗祠展出古牌匾。[6]

牌坊是光绪帝表彰陈芳善举而赐建的，花岗岩构筑，三间三楼式，坊身刻有瑞兽、花果、人物和八仙图案，带有中西合璧的造型。[3][5] 原有4座，现存3座，另有一座牌坊的台基；坊额为「乐善好施」和「急公好义」，东侧「乐善好施」坊建于1886年（光绪十二年），另两座建于1891年（光绪十七年）。[3][5] 牌坊在1987年成为珠海市文物保护单位，1989年升为省级。[3]

陈氏家族墓园在旅游路旁的景区里，墓群分三次修成，时间是1906年、1924年和1937年。[1] 梅溪陈氏大宗祠建于清代，占地1070.1平方米，包括梅溪大庙和乡约。[1] 社区后山还有1936年的陈席儒夫妇合葬墓，是县级文物保护单位。[7] 据百度百科，陈芳家宅也是辛亥年间前山新军起义的集结地，抗日战争时期还是凤凰山抗日民主政权相关活动的地点。[5]

农科奇观在社区内的双龙山下，是珠海市农业科研部门办的示范园，起源于1963年成立的科研基地，今占地2000亩，是国家4A级旅游景区。[8]

2024年，凤山街道办事处先后两次公示一份传统村落规划，名为「东坑村、梅溪村传统村落保护发展规划（2022-2035年）」，梅溪村与东坑村被一并纳入。[9]
