梅溪村是新丰县黄磜镇下辖的行政村，村名与河边、杨梅树有关，是省级西瓜专业村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：村子建在河边，四周山上长着杨梅树。[1] 它先后是梅溪乡（1949年至1957年）、梅溪大队（1958年起）；1984年改乡政府，1990年改管理区，1998年设村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
2020年8月，梅溪村列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，品种是西瓜。2026年1月，又被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
