田寮社区在深圳市光明区玉塘街道西南部，由原田寮村于2004年改制而来，松白公路穿过社区。辖区面积5.94平方千米，下辖4个居民小组，定位为深圳市工模产业发展核心区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

田寮的得名有两说。百度百科称，早年有村民从龙华的鸦鹊山一带迁来，在田野间搭寮居住，村名由此而来；[1]博雅地名网则记，村落四周多是田野，田间有一座寺庙，当地人把庙叫作「寮」。[2]

2023年11月，街道办事处调整社区居委会辖区，田寮社区的范围改为东至茅洲河玉塘段，南接玉律社区，西邻松岗街道，北靠将石、塘尾两个社区，同时从原辖区划出一部分，新设玉塘社区。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

百度百科记载，社区总人口约7.97万人，其中户籍人口1553人；博雅地名网载有户籍人口1016人、暂住人口6万多人，两者统计时间不同。[1][2]社区有11个工业区，入驻企业412家，其中规模以上企业7家，普联技术、亿和精密为例；该年（2012年）社会总产值27亿元，其中第三产业占55.6%，工业占37%。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

虎地山公园在社区的同观路，前身叫荔枝公园，于2020年开放。[4]2022年8月，田寮社区被确定为广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位。[2]
