公明街道是广东省深圳市光明区下辖的街道，在光明区的西北部：东面是新湖街道，南面是马田街道，北面隔界与东莞市大朗镇相连。[1] 辖区面积23.6平方千米，下辖公明、上村、李松蓢、下村、西田5个社区，街道办事处设在公明社区。[1][2] 2025年12月常住人口14.78万人。[1]

「公明」这个名字来自1929年建成的公平墟，1931年墟市改名公明墟，意为「公道光明」。[2][4] 街道现为光明科学城大科学装置集群的核心承载区之一。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1929年，楼村的武举人陈凯臣与合水口村的麦晓孙出面倡议，上村、合水口两村的族老几经商议，在两村交界处各划出同样大小的土地，仿照香港元朗的墟市，开办一处买卖公平的集市，取名公平墟；1931年改称公明墟。[2][4]

新中国成立初，这里归宝安县第四区。人民公社时期几经分合：1958年10月同光明农场编为一个公社，次年4月划入松岗公社，1961年7月才单独设公明公社。[2][7] 此后1983年7月改社为区，1986年10月改区为镇；宝安撤县设区的1993年1月起，隶属深圳市宝安区。[7] 2004年7月1日，随深圳全面城市化，建制镇改为街道。[2][7]

2007年，公明街道划归新成立的光明新区管辖；2016年8月，从原公明街道析出马田、新湖、玉塘三个街道。[2] 2018年5月，国务院批复设立光明区，同年9月19日挂牌，公明街道属光明区。[2][1]

博雅地名网所录的旧资料，是析置之前大面积的原公明镇的情形：当时辖19个社区，面积100.3平方千米，称有海外华侨和港澳同胞一万多人；该资料还记，1998年获评广东省卫生镇，2001年获评广东省文明卫生镇，2002年入选中国经济百强镇。[3] 这些数字与今天23.6平方千米的街道不是同一范围。

据百度百科，街道2022年完成固定资产投资70.9亿元，涨幅77.1%，在光明区排第一，同年规模以上工业产值为420.8亿元；到2025年前11个月，这项产值累计473.37亿元，比上年同期多4.64%。[1] 街道内的李松蓢社区有深圳市首批「工业上楼」试点的光明数字智造产业园。[1]

文化[edit]

公明一带的传统建筑属广府风格。百度百科把耕隐麦公祠、西田允彩陈公祠、将围麦氏家塾和凡伯公家塾列为这里的景点。[1] 光明区政府2024年的介绍把东宝中学旧址、公明墟、公明粮仓、陈仙姑祠列为公明片区的文化古迹，并说地铁13号线北延线在上村、下村、李松蓢三个社区设站，站名即社区名。[5]

公明的几样传统食品也出自这里。据光明区政府2023年的访谈，公明烧鹅的创始人是水贝上村人陈汝顺，民国二十八年（1939年）前后已名扬海外，1951年由其子陈水德接手；公明烧猪由下村人陈铁林在1941年首创，已传到第四代。[4] 新洸月饼的前身是公明墟大同茶楼老板做的金华火腿月饼，后由供销社茶楼学徒陈太林于1988年创办的新光饼家接续；新光饼家的月饼制作技艺2020年列入光明区非物质文化遗产。[4][5]

名胜古迹[edit]

公明墟

公明墟又称公明圩、公明老街，在合水口村与上村的交界处。街两侧是二至三层的骑楼式商铺，保留了砖雕、木雕、石雕，也带有南洋式样的窗和阁楼。[5][1] 这里是旧时从宝安通往东莞的要道，也曾是光明地区的政治、经济、文化教育中心。[4][5] 宝安区在2004年8月将它列入首批不可移动文物保护点，光明新区又在2012年7月把它定为区级文物保护单位。[4] 墟西侧的公明粮仓现存两座筒仓，一座夯土拱形，一座钢筋混凝土；据老人回忆，墟里原有十座粮仓，民国时公明是宝安县产粮最多的地方。[4] 2023年，公明街道正在编制历史风貌区保护规划，推进活化利用的前期工作。[4]

东宝中学旧址

旧址在上村站与下村站之间，主体是约300年前陈氏家族建的古祠堂。1944年冬，东江纵队借这座祠堂开办学校、培养抗日干部，这就是东宝地区的首所抗日民主学校，名东宝中学。[5]

公明陈仙姑祠

祠在上村社区内，建祠已逾百年；七十年代遭拆毁，2004年靠募捐在原处重建，用地约1000平方米。[6]
