西田社区是深圳市光明区公明街道下辖的社区，在街道的最北端，东边是新羌社区，南边是上村社区，西边是李松蓢社区，北边与东莞市大朗镇交界。[1] 辖区面积约5.7平方千米，居民以外来人口为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名解放前写作「西天」；1890年，三位陈姓兄弟从下村迁来建村。[2] 博雅地名网解释今名：解放初这里的村民以种田为业，村又在公明街道西部，故称西田。[3]

1961年至1985年隶属公明公社下村大队，1981年10月分出，成立西田大队；1993年1月属宝安区公明镇，2004年7月改称西田社区居委会。[2] 百度百科则把成立时间记为2017年6月，与此不同。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

常住人口约3.6万人，总人口38246人；有4个工业区、181家企业，其中规模以上2家。[1] 博雅地名网引用的2011年底的情况是户籍常住人口385人、186户，下辖2个居民小组，引进企业156家。[4] 2022年3月，西田入选首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区；2019年9月，列入广东省2018年民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位。[2] 社区还建立了居民自治章程和议事协商机制，西田社区健康服务中心2024年投入使用。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

西田允彩陈公祠是村中陈姓族人的宗祠，修缮项目2022年启动。[1] 百度百科把它与耕隐麦公祠等并列为公明街道的广府建筑。[5]
