历史沿革[edit]
桂香社区成立于2017年5月，社区党委同月11日成立，当年7月1日完成选举；它下辖星花和大坪两个居委会。[1] 社区总面积约4.9平方千米，2017年的资料记人口43587人，户籍的占1761人。[1]
经济[edit]
桂香辖区的主要道路有桂花路和桂月路，工业区有佳怡工业区、庙溪工业区和日技城，共有工厂企业约411家。[1] 辖区内的桂花第二市场、庙溪第一市场和庙溪的社康中心，以及桂花的幼儿园和小学，是主要的商业和公共设施。[1]

星花辖区内的大湖村，据百度百科的说法属广府民系，与街道其余以客家话为主的原住民不同。[2]
