五联社区在龙岗街道西北角，西面与东莞市青溪镇、凤岗镇相邻，北接惠州市惠阳区南坑村，面积32.5平方千米，其中约28平方千米属水源生态保护区，已建成的部分约5平方千米。[1] 社区总人口约7万，户籍人口约1.5万，原住居民约2800人。[1][2] 社区2016年划入龙岗街道。[3]

居民小组[edit]

社区共14个居民小组，8个在水库库区之外，6个在库区之内。[1] 库外的小组有瓦窑坑、协平、竹头背等，库内的有百坳、上寮、下寮、杉坑、蕉湖等。[1] 商品住宅小区有6个，万科千林山居是其中之一。[1]

清林径水库[edit]

清林径水库在龙岗河上游，1963年3月建成，2010年起扩建，把清林径、黄龙湖、伯公坳三座水库合并，2019年底完工，库容约1.86亿立方米。[4]

教育与设施[edit]

辖区办学机构包括2所公立小学、1所私立九年一贯制学校（五联崇和学校）、2所技工学校（含深圳技师学院）和11间幼儿园。[1] 社区另有党群服务中心、3个社康中心和五联广场。[1][1]
