长龙社区是深圳市龙岗区布吉街道的社区，1991年8月成立，辖区约0.46平方千米，分布吉上圩和长龙新村两个片区。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，辖区原有两座并列的小山，山体不高，单看像牛，合起来又像一条小龙，社区因此叫长龙；居委会设于1991年8月，2002年城市化改革时改称社区居委会。深圳市住房和建设局在2022年3月公布首批绿色（宜居）社区名单，长龙社区在列。[3]

社区概况[edit]

上圩片区的住宅小区有五个：宝龙花园、国都花园、德兴城，以及布吉医院宿舍和布吉镇统建楼。新村片区除布吉中学外，有长龙花园、美杜兰华庭和长龙新村三个小区。长龙新村是原布吉镇房地产公司1984年征地开发的，宅基地按栋卖给个人自建，一共规划576栋，从1986年起陆续建成入住。[1]

街道网站2021年7月载，社区有14127户、32954人，户籍人口为6359人，商业门店1242间，楼房728栋。[1]

博雅地名网称，社区由原布吉居委会拆分而来，2006年5月起居委会与工作站分设。[2]
