大发埔社区在深圳市龙岗区坂田街道西部，面积约1.1平方千米，下辖大发埔居委会（大发埔村）和里石排居委会（里石排村、水斗坑村）。[1][2]

社区工作站在2006年12月成立；综合党委于2012年设立，2016年2月更名为社区党委。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

东至五和大道，南至平南铁路，西临梅观高速（与龙华区交界），北至贝尔路，距梅林关约10分钟车程。[1]

龙岗区政府网站称总人口约7.03万；[1]博雅地名网记户籍1667人，总人口为51858人。[2]
