罗租社区在深圳市宝安区石岩街道中部，辖区面积5.57平方千米，东依阳台山，南连应人石社区，西边是浪心社区，北边是上屋社区。[1]

名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，罗租的祖先向浪心村租地耕种，租金是一箩谷，人们说成“一罗租”，村子因此称罗租。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

罗租村委会于1996年10月自石岩村委会分设；[3]罗租社区工作站于2008年2月1日成立，管辖罗租、龙眼山两个社区居委会，各有一家股份合作公司。[4]维基百科记辖区内有新石器时代晚期的罗租果场遗址。[5]
