历史沿革[edit]
上屋村委会在2004年城市化后改称上屋社区居委会；到2008年1月撤销，另设上下屋、田心、园美、上排、下排、径贝6个社区居委会，名称沿用至今。[3]其中上下屋居委会名称，博雅地名网解释为由上屋、下屋两村合并而成。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
上屋社区一带有坑尾碉楼、园岭碉楼和元径村古井。[1]永和路6号的上屋热线圈厂旧址建于1983年，2008年改建为劳务工博物馆，2010年9月公布为宝安区文物保护单位。[4]
