据博雅地名网，社区名取“悬黎垂棘，夜光在焉”之意，喻宝安美玉不因偏远而失光。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
维基百科称，黎光村一带有春秋战国时期的遗址。[4]2025年6月，街道为新设的黎光社区和径背社区举行挂牌仪式。[2]社区管理人口约3.61万人，辖内有黎光聚英、塘坑两家股份合作公司。[1]
