沙井社区在沙井街道，面积0.2平方公里，下辖沙坣新村一个村；因地处沙洲、井水涌沙而得名。[1]

沿革[edit]

1984年1月10日，沙井区公所成立；1993年撤县建区，居民委员会随之改称；2004年城市化后，又称沙井社区居委会。[1]

社区概况[edit]

博雅地名网称，这是个老旧社区，没有土地，也没有股份公司，户籍与流动人口合计约2万余人。2022年3月名列首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]
