步涌社区在沙井街道北部，同后亭、共和、衙边三个社区相邻，辖区面积3.0平方公里，江氏大宗祠所在地。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

步涌1957年重新归沙井乡，次年建步涌大队；1983年7月，步涌、共和、后亭三个大队并为步涌乡政府；到1987年步涌又单独设了村民委员会；2004年6月和9月先后成立了两家股份合作公司，到2004年7月，因城市化改制而改称社区居委会；2007年成立社区工作站。[1][2]

社区建设[edit]

社区建有广场、公园、图书馆、社康中心等设施。居民统建的步涌新村2012年11月入伙，占地10万平方米，建有19栋小高层。社区获得过广东省卫生村、深圳市文明示范村等称号，2022年8月名列第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

江氏大宗祠是步涌江姓的总祠，在步涌南路35号，清代建筑，三开间三进，山墙用蚝壳砌筑，门联为「济阳立郡，岭表名宗」，2000年和2003年分别被沙井镇政府、宝安区政府公布为文物保护单位；另据百度百科，深圳十大海洋文化历史地标的2013年评选中，它名列其中。祠旁另有宗汉公家塾、静庵江公祠和关帝庙，构成一组古建筑。晋代孝子黄舒墓据称在步涌大田，距今已有1600多年。[2][3]
