衙边社区在沙井街道中部，辖区面积1.2平方公里，村名取自归德盐场官署的旁边，村名见于清嘉庆《新安县志》。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
衙边在1963年同辛养大队合为东风大队，1984年归东风乡管，1991年12月单独设村民委员会，2004年7月城市化改制之后改设社区居民委员会。2004年以衙边经济发展公司为基础成立了股份合作公司。衙边的名称在2024年4月列入深圳市首批地名保护名录；2022年3月名列首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]

介绍所载，户籍人口为632人、212户，而外来人口约有2.8万。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
陈朝举墓在东岳路与西园路交叉口东北侧，宝安区文物保护单位，始建于南宋，清乾隆十三年（1748年）重修，墓形为太师椅式，青石砌筑，长26米、宽12米，1999年3月公布。陈朝举（1134年至1213年），字朝举，淳熙年间进士，因避战乱自洛阳南迁，其后裔分布在沙井、福永、松岗、横岗、龙岗及东莞等地。[2]
