南光社区是深圳市南山区南山街道下辖的社区，位于南山大道以东、南海大道以西、创业路以北、桂庙路以南一带，辖区面积1.1平方千米。[1]名称来自原南光村，村由横龙岗村与正龙村在人民公社时期合并而成。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村中原居民以吴、赵、张三姓为主。解放前，南光村属宝安县南头管辖，村民靠耕种、出海作业和养蚝为生；解放后先属新民乡，后属南头公社。[2]1992年深圳经济特区推行农村城市化，南光村委会改为居民委员会；2001年8月，该居委会与海王居委会合并为南光社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[2]

人口民族[edit]

社区由26个住宅小区和6栋楼宇组成，有居民10331户，常住人口约2.7万，占总人口的79%；居民除原村民外，还有各界人士和务工人员。[1]桂庙自然村也在辖区内，位于桂庙路以北、南光路以东。[1]

文化[edit]

南光社区在2022年8月被认定为「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」；2018年、2020年先后进入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
