上梅社区居梅林中部，面积0.63平方公里，南临梅华路，北到梅林路，西到梅村路，东到中康路。博雅地名网记总人口27881人、13205户，其中户籍3748人，流动人口占86.6%；社区内有梅林医院、梅丽小学，有祠堂村、上梅林新村2个以黄氏宗族为主的自然村，居民楼338栋（年份未注明）。[1]
社区内另有华原幼儿园、山水大酒店和3座综合商场，五金、小商品商户约984间；梅林四村、华景花园、天源梅林3个小区获评文明小区，辖区有文明户上百家，卫生示范街和示范村各1条。社区工作站设在上梅林新村福新阁，设300平方米的一站式服务窗口，图书馆、星光老人之家等场所约900平方米。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
梅林街道上梅居委会1992年8月成立，2002年5月起称上梅社区居委会。2022年3月，它列入首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区名单。[1]
