社区南起北环路，北到梅林路，东、西以彩田北路和中康路为界，有住宅小区16个，工业区3个（越华、东林、奥仕达）。博雅地名网记居住人口15238人，当中6047人有本地户籍，另9191人是暂住流动人口；辖区有企业338家、沿街门店265家，工业、商业、住宅混合（年份未注明）。[1]
区内的先科花园、振业梅苑、金燕园、绅宝花园被评为安全文明小区；较有名的企业有天虹商场、中汽南方、影儿时尚、捷顺和中外运敦豪。[2]
