竹林社区是深圳市福田区香蜜湖街道下辖的社区，位于深南大道以北、园博园东侧一带，居民多是从军队转业的建筑工人及其家属。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

社区因辖区内的竹林小区得名。[2] 区政府网站记其成立于2002年6月；博雅地名网则说，2002年4月竹园、竹林分设两个居委会，2005年5月再由「居改社」转为社区工作站。[1][2]

竹子林的住宅区与军队转业有关：1982年国务院、中央军委决定调基建工程兵两万人到深圳，集体转业改编为施工企业；1983年深圳市政府将驻竹子林的303团（00313部队）、304团（00314部队）分别改编为市第四、第五建筑工程公司，官兵与家属迁入此地。博雅地名网称，社区居民主要就是这两家公司的职工及家属。[2]

区政府网站称辖区面积0.43平方千米，共5个居民小区、68栋住宅楼，住户4018户；常住8596人，另有流动人口4982人；319家单位里以非公有制经济组织居多（310个），机关5个。[1] 博雅地名网给出的面积是1.47平方千米，范围东起广深高速公路，西到竹子林四路（园博园东门），南起深南路，北到园博园；该页称社区居住人口16755人，其中户籍10624人。[2] 两处面积与人数口径不同，未作统一。
