历史沿革[edit]

村名取「泰」（美满）、「源」（源源不断）之意，寓意生活美满、财源不断。[1]

1949年设泰源农会，其后经初级社、高级社，1963年为泰源大队，1983年改乡，1988年改管理区，1998年12月撤区设村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情（未注明年份），全村445户、总人口1668人，耕地980亩。村以山区为主，收入以林场和采石场为主。[1]
