塘东村是广东省韶关市南雄市珠玑镇东部的行政村，距镇政府约2.5公里，下设12个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村西有一口水塘，村在塘东，故名。[1]
1949年设塘东农会，其后经初级社、高级社，1961年为塘东大队，1983年改乡，1988年改管理区，1998年12月撤区设村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情（未注明年份），全村555户、总人口2296人，耕地1956.9亩，林地135亩。收入以黄烟、水稻、养殖家禽和外出务工为主，2010年种黄烟950亩。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
著名人物[edit]
叶汉章（1920年—1977年），又名叶英桓，塘东村人。1947年10月参加中共地下组织领导的游击队，同年12月入党，后在南雄县公安部门任职。[2]
