地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网记述：村后的山形如土窑，村民的住处恰在窑的灶口，故叫窑灶口；这里在界址镇算大村，2008年改称大坊。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
窑灶口1949年成立农会，1955年、1957年先后转为初级社和高级社，1958年称大队，1983年称乡，1988年称管理区，1998年12月建村；2008年7月30日村委会更名大坊村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网载有约2009年前后的数据：426户、1891人，耕地1400亩，种稻为主；集体经济有鱼塘，另出租门店。[1]
荣誉[edit]
大坊村在2024年3月获命名为2023年广东省卫生村；2026年3月，它与百罗村一起被认定为第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
