下屋村属南雄市界址镇，下设8个村民小组。1998年撤销管理区、改设村民委员会时定名下屋村委会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
下屋在1950年成立农会，其后经初级社、高级社走向集体化，其中1957年的高级社由下屋、下围两个初级社合编而成；1958年10月称下屋大队，1988年称管理区，1998年建村。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网载有约2009年前后的数据：258户、1089人，耕地900亩，种稻为主，兼种花生、大豆；集体经济有林场和鱼塘；2009年农村人均纯收入3200元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，下屋村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
