龙体村是铁龙镇的行政村，名称源于1958年设立的龙体大队。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，龙体大队与龙化、龙集两个大队一同设立，名称由「龙」字和「集体化」中的「体」字组成。改革开放后改称龙体管理区，1999年撤销管理区，成立龙体村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月将该村列为2021年度乡村治理示范村的创建对象；2022年8月，该村又成为当年民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象；2026年3月，又入选广东省第三批「百千万工程」的典型村镇。[1]
