东鹊村在江尾镇西北的最边缘，属革命老区，村情介绍称其为山区贫困村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1957年这里是东鹊村乡，1958年改为东鹊村大队；1983年复称东鹊村乡，1986年起设村委会，1993年改称管理区，1998年定名东鹊村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据村情介绍，村域33平方千米，耕地1340亩，分5个村民小组，179户、740人，党员33人；村民主要靠林业和毛竹，集体收入则来自小水电站。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 东鹊村在2019年12月进入「第一批国家森林乡村」，2022年1月又成为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]
