高塘村是黄坑镇的行政村之一，村委会设在省道S244旁。[1] 国道106线从村境经过。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来历有说：附近原先有许多山塘，叫大塘村，后来同高夫坝村合并，改名高塘。[1] 建国后称高塘乡，1958年为高塘大队，1984年复称乡；1986年起改称村委会，1989年一度称管理区，1998年撤区恢复为村委会，名称未变。[1]

经济[edit]

2021年9月，高塘村（贡柑）列入广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村名单。[1]
