历史沿革[edit]
建国后设塘联乡，1958年成塘联大队。1976年后它由小楣水林场代管，多年间农村基层工作中断。其后划归董塘镇，设塘联村委会，经管理区阶段，1998年又定为村委会。[1]按该村地名由来的说法，划入董塘镇的年份为1987年，而同一页的沿革写作1986年。[1]
2019年9月，塘联村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
