历史沿革[edit]
建国后为董中乡，1958年起是董中大队，其后乡、村委会、管理区的名称几经替换，1998年定为村委会。[1]1976年，董联大队从这里分出。[2]
著名人物[edit]
邓祝三（1902年—1927年），出生在董中的新大门村，是中共党员。他1925年参加农民协会，在北江农军学校读过书，毕业后做了第五区农民协会的执行委员。[3]
据仁化县人民政府网站对董塘镇的介绍，董中村是第四批「百千万工程」典型村，正开展人居环境和风貌整治提升。[4]
