厚塘村是广东省韶关市仁化县扶溪镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻厚塘自然村，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

厚塘的建制起于两个农会（厚塘、江下），1952年归扶南乡，1955年两个初级社并成一个高级社；1959年定为厚塘大队，此前的公社时期叫东南管理区[1]。公社时期之后的变动：设乡在1984年，改设村委会在1986年，1989年一度叫管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名[1]。

据仁化县人民政府网站对扶溪镇的介绍，南台庙（俗称龙母庙）在厚塘村南面，据民间流传的庙志记载创建于唐仪凤元年（676年），占地2000多平方米，分前殿、中殿、后殿，几经民间捐资修缮保存至今，是镇上的旅游景点。[2]
