历史沿革[edit]
蛇离原属南雄县百顺公社，1956年并入厚塘高级社；此后与里社几经分合，1964年二者合为蛇离大队[1]。公社时期之后的变动：设乡在1984年，改设村委会在1986年，1989年一度叫管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
蛇离梯田位于村委会辖区内，依山势层层而上，秋收时节吸引摄影爱好者前来拍摄[1]。2019年9月，蛇离村名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]。
据仁化县人民政府网站对扶溪镇的介绍，蛇离梯田总面积129亩，主要分布在上下里社、苦竹坪、木应村一带，端午前后梯田灌水后如一面面镜子，秋冬收获时则黄绿相间；2018年12月，被评为县「环丹十大景点」之一。村里的毛竹林约1.9万亩，是镇上毛竹最多的两个村之一。[2]
