历史沿革[edit]

1955年建高级社，大水改称上级学社；1957年划为外三区，1962年起称大水大队。[1]1979年外三与大水分开，大水大队继续保留；1981年改设大水村管理委员会，1983年成乡，1987年为管理区，1998年撤销管理区，改设村民委员会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，大水村的茶叶产业列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]2019年9月，村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2023年5月，获2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
