历史沿革[edit]
1949至1954年间，方洞同罗坝的桃源联合设乡，合称「方桃乡」。方洞大队建于1960年，后来成为乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年），到1998年改设村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
方洞村的专业村品类为肉牛，见于省农业农村厅2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」名单[1]。
文化[edit]
2024年3月，该村获「2023年广东省卫生村」命名[1]。
