四村高级农业合作社办于1956年，4年后改为大队；其后是乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年），管理区在1998年让位于村民委员会[1]。
文化[edit]
2024年1月，四村确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」，3月又获「2023年广东省卫生村」命名[1]。
