澄江村在始兴县澄江镇境内，村名与镇名一样，来自流经当地的澄江河[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1950年立乡。1956年，三村与八村为主的农户组成三八高级农业合作社；1959年起用大队之名，1961年分出黄坑、三八两个大队，1964年三者又合而为一。此后依次为乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年），1998年管理区撤销，由村民委员会接替[1]。
文化[edit]
该村在2019年9月进入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单，2023年5月由省爱卫会评为「2022年广东省卫生村」，2026年3月被认定为省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇[1]。
