历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名来自一片原为荒草的平地：因稻谷成熟时金黄一片，村旁的山又叫凤凰岭，故称金凤坪。村由原北乡大队改建，后依国家政策改称金凤坪村委会[1]。
人口民族[edit]
村下设金凤坪、曹村、黄岗、上坝、下坝五个自然村，通行客家话和广州话。2004年全村1842人，耕地903亩，山林3500亩[1][2]。
经济[edit]
村里以种植蔬菜、养塘鱼和生猪为主，是韶关市区蔬菜供应基地之一；北乡香芋曾外销，荷兰豆也曾销往广州和香港。村办企业有石场、砖厂、肉联厂、农贸市场和加油站等六十多处，2004年工农业总产值为4912万元[1]。镇里规划中的蔬菜基地、花卉基地和兰花基地都在这个村[3]。
