清燕社区是广州市增城区荔湖街道辖下的社区居民委员会，办公地点在荔新二路188号[2]。社区原名荔湖社区，2020年改称清燕社区[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

荔湖社区居民委员会成立于2018年，当时属荔城街道；2019年荔湖街道设立后随之改属[2]。2020年4月14日获批更名，新名取自民国时期的「清燕乡」；社区所在片区习称「清燕片」，居民对这个称呼较为熟悉[1][2]。

地理环境[edit]

辖区东到荔新大道，南到华商学院，西到实地蔷薇小区，北到增城大道[1][2]。区内有广汕公路、荔新公路、广惠高速、珠三角环线和地铁21号线经过；辖区内有广东财经大学华商学院和广州市执信中学，大型住宅小区有锦绣半山花园、实地蔷薇[1]。

荣誉[edit]

社区列入广州市住房和城乡建设局2021年11月公布的绿色社区名单，2024年11月又被认定为广州市充分就业社区[1][2]。社区是荔湖街「两社三中心」的首批试点之一，曾引入高校资源开办英语公益课堂和寒假公益课堂[1]。
