荔湖社区是广州市增城区荔湖街道辖下的社区居民委员会，属主城区，办公地点在新城大道102号[1]。它的前身是1999年设立的雁塔居民委员会，2020年改用现名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1999年8月，荔城镇设雁塔居民委员会；2002年改称雁塔社区居民委员会；2004年2月荔城镇改为荔城街道，社区随属荔城街道；2019年荔城街道分出荔湖街道，社区改属荔湖街道[1]。2019年划出荔湖街道时，雁塔社区是与罗岗等7个村并列划入的社区[2]。

2020年，雁塔社区居民委员会更名为荔湖社区居民委员会，博雅地名网记为4月，维基百科记为6月[1][2]。同一时期，此前名为荔湖社区的另一个社区改称清燕社区[2]。社区名称来自附近的荔湖[1]。

荣誉[edit]

社区名列广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布）；广州市住房和城乡建设局2021年11月公布的绿色社区名单中也有它；2024年11月又被认定为广州市充分就业社区[1]。
