梅树村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖2个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约171人。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名来自村委会所在的梅树村。[1]该村原属东明公社长流大队，称梅树大乡；1976年因建水库划归黄龙带林场；1987年1月转由黄龙带水库管理处管理，称梅树管理区；2001年2月改归良口镇，设梅树村民委员会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

全村面积约3平方千米，村委会距从化城区约48公里，距105国道约18公里。村里建有一座水电站，增加集体收入；村民种砂糖桔、杨梅、青梅，兼养蜂、养猪，也有人外出务工。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
