良新村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖24个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约3685人。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
村名来自村委会所在的良新村。[1]设良新大队在1958年；1983年12月，赤树并入后称良新乡；1987年1月赤树分出，设良新村民委员会。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
全村面积约10平方千米，村委会距从化城区约30公里，距105国道相邻，S354省道从村内经过。广东省的塘鱼保护区设在村内。村民靠种养业和外出务工为生；村里还建有小当家生态农场的“甜园蜜语”项目。[2][1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月认定为「2025年广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」；2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2024年3月命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
2015年从化区的名单把大江里门楼、格塘社民居建筑群（均为清代）列入传统风貌建筑线索。[3]
