塘料村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖1个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约500多人。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

山下原有7口塘，可蓄水防山火，也可养鱼、灌田；当地米粒饱满、以斗量产，“米”与“斗”合为“料”，取“既有塘、又有料”之意。[1]1958年设塘料大队；1983年12月起，塘料和高沙、米埗一起并为米埗乡，1987年1月分出，改设塘料村民委员会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

全村面积约2.5平方千米，村委会距从化城区约22公里，距105国道约1公里。村里温泉资源丰富，广州市干部疗养院设在村中；为配合温泉养生谷建设，村民已全部迁到碧水新村居住。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
