赤树村位于广州市从化区北部山区，隶属良口镇，辖4个经济社；据博雅地名网载，总人口约432人。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村委会驻地原称赤树洞，村名由此而来。[1]1958年设赤树大队；1983年12月并入良新乡，1987年1月分出，改设赤树村民委员会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

全村面积约8.6平方千米，村委会距从化城区约40公里，距105国道约10公里。当地山多人少，村集体发展经济林；村民以种植砂糖桔为主，也有人外出务工。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月认定为「2025年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2024年3月命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

羊子塘的四角楼为清代民居，2015年被从化区列入传统风貌建筑线索名单。[2]
