沙仔村是广州市南沙区黄阁镇东侧的行政村，在沙仔岛上，东临狮子洋，西靠沙仔沥水道，广州港南沙汽车滚装码头设在村内。[1][2] 村名因这里是小虎山岛东北的小沙洲，又靠近石楼镇的大沙尾。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代这里筑围，由番禺石楼的黄氏开村，分为沙仔上围与下围两处，当时归东莞县第九区，也曾叫小虎沙；1959年后属番禺县黄阁公社的小虎大队；1971年从小虎大队分出，成立沙仔大队；1984年改乡，1987年起设村民委员会，2005年同黄阁镇一道转入南沙区。[1]

人口经济[edit]

村域面积约3.3平方千米，1825人、502户（博雅地名网所载，未注年份）；村预留经济发展用地634亩，规划发展港口物流和化工。[1] 历史上村民种甘蔗、香蕉并出海捕鱼，2005年建桥前岛上与外界没有桥梁相通。[2]
