庙南村此前属灵山镇，2005年10月改隶广州市南沙区横沥镇，东邻蕉门水道，西临上横沥水道。[1]
名称与历史[edit]
村名来自庙南自然村，早前叫青罟村。清代属番禺县，1958年设庙南大队，到1987年称庙南村委会，1993年又改设村民委员会。[1]
概况[edit]
原有土地4.13平方千米，2007年获广州市「蔬菜专业村」称号。广珠东线以东的土地被划入明珠湾起步区，2013年4月开始征地拆迁，部分村民已回迁至灵山岛尖的安置区。[1]2018年，村进入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
