太阳升村位于广州市南沙区横沥镇东南部，西倚洪奇沥水道，南接万顷沙镇。[1]

名称与历史[edit]

村名与东方红村出自同一句歌词“东方红，太阳升”。道光二十年（1840年）左右围垦，俗称“苏十顷”围；1958年建行政村，1987年设村民委员会。[1]

概况[edit]

面积1.27平方千米，村民多姓郭、冯、梁，分4个生产队。耕地731亩，木瓜和石榴是特色农产品；2016年统计342户，户籍人口1133人。[1]2026年1月，村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
