新兴社区是广州市南沙区珠江街道辖下的社区，城乡分类为主城区，原称万顷沙中心居委。[1] 社区取“新一轮发展的开始”之意，以“新兴”为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原属万顷沙镇，是镇的中心地带；2009年划入珠江街道，新兴社区居民委员会随之成立。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，社区列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2021年11月获「广州市2021年绿色社区」认定。[1]
