福涌村是广州市番禺区沙湾街道下辖的行政村，位于沙湾北部，由福田片和老区片七个自然村组成，抗日战争时期是广游二支队司令部驻地。[1][2]村名取自福田的「福」与涌边、石涌、涌口的「涌」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，这里由福田、涌边、石涌、涌口几个村合并而成；福田一片面积较大，故取其「福」字，其余各村取「涌」字，合称福涌村。1987年设立福涌村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村面积4.2平方千米，早年处在丘陵地带，位置偏僻。福田片有田心、林地、涌口、新村、兰陵，老区片有石涌、涌边，共七个自然村。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网引用的村情介绍称，全村户籍人口2347人，流动人口约2万人；村内有企业172间、商铺60间，主要企业包括饼业、办公用品、纸品和制衣等行业，其中2009年工业总产值为10.4亿元。[1]

福涌村在2020年、2021年和2022年连续列入淘宝村名单，2019年入选广东省卫生村名录。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

石涌、涌边两村是抗日战争时期广游二支队司令部驻地。1938年11月广州沦陷后，吴勤任司令的广游二支队成立；1940年9月，以共产党员为骨干的独立一中队成立，中队部设在涌边自然村的陈氏祖祠内。[2]
